Helen Keller said, “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” If you would like your heart to expand, dive into life’s depths and love. It is the simplest path to becoming a grand lover. We in Unity know that we are the energy of love, and we express our true identity as we love. There are endless ways to love, and we are in the thick of them this month.
Last Sunday we showered Claudia, our music director, with love and appreciation. Please see the pictures of her plaque, poem, and hand painted canvas. If you did not get a chance to sign the WOW book, it will be available in the main hallway for you to sign this Sunday.
This week, Teddy Bear Sunday, we are donating every kind of stuffed animal to the Chesterfield Police to share even more love beyond our church walls. It is wonderful to be able to offer comfort to those who are in a traumatic situation. We know that whatever we give out circles its way back to us. We are ready to give and receive love, love, love. Huggy Bear will be sharing hugs and opportunities for photos. Of course, we welcome, and encourage your food donations for our potluck. Share the love by sitting at a table together. Come, get in on the fun!
On Feb. 23rd, our Love in Action Fair gives everyone the opportunity to discover a way to jump in and participate in the church and in the larger community. We come to a spiritual home to get our hearts filled, our consciousness expanded, and to be able to pour some of that love back into the world. Every activity will be represented, and all your questions can be addressed. Being a part of a group that does sacred service is a fabulous way of playing together. Find the way that makes your heart sing.
Let us experience the joy of being outrageously, boldly generous with our love, spreading it wherever we pass.
