As all of Unity gathers this Wednesday around World Day of Prayer, I invite us all to stand in mountain-moving faith as we claim peace for our world. It boggles my mind that children and teachers are at risk in schools. How
can Russia and Ukraine still be at odds as well as Palestine and Israel and other hot spots?
It is insanity to believe that violence is a solution.
The world is an out-picturing of the consciousness that inhabits it. Humanity can create a world that works for all. We can do our part as we do our own inner work and choose to be peacemakers. The peace of God is always available to each of us. No matter what is happening around us, we can find peace in the power and presence of the Divine within. The truth of our being is love, the love that brings all into harmony.
Rev. Jim Rosemergy writes “Our work is to extend our consciousness of wholeness, oneness, love, peace, joy and harmony to humanity.” I would say this is what being a peacemaker involves. We are the light of the world. May we be the peace we desire for every person in our world.
In peace and love,
Rev. Patty
