2024 Summer Book Study with Rev. Alva Pope
Prior to 2017, I knew nothing of Unity (the movement) or The Twelve Powers of Man (Charles Fillmore). My thoughts about spiritual gifts were based on the unique, mysterious and purpose driven ideas that I had been taught based on God’s special attention and connection with individual people.
In fact, I had been taught that gifts needed to be given to you and identified by a higher spiritual power (person) that was greater than you. The more you were able to “peacock your gift,” the more worthy you were. And the visibility of your gifts made you even more worthy of being called out by the Pastor, Prophet or Preacher.
But now, I know differently! Faith (Hebrews 11:1) promises that ideas are the evidence of what we cannot see visibly. How to Use Your Twelve Gifts from God adds to what we already know about spiritual gifts and educates us on the blueprint of human spirituality. In this book study we will fully utilize the text while generating a better understanding of how to use these spiritual powers identified by Unity’s co-founder and amplified by the author, William Warch.
This is the first book that puts the “how” in how to use these gifts! If you are ready to learn something new about things that you already know, come and join us! We start on June 27th and will be on Zoom and in-person for this book study! We see you doing amazing things!
