Starting tomorrow we focus on the Power of Love for February, with an emphasis on Love in Action – our 5th principle. Please wear pink any Sunday that you would like. This Sunday we are looking at sacred service’s relationship to spirituality and will also be blessing baby Bentley.
On February 11th we have LOVE IN ACTION SUNDAY, with a great service and fair. Fun decorations will be in the sanctuary, the hallway and New-Rock Hall. There will be a special cake during fellowship coffee, and tables for people to sign up for what lights their fire.
On February 18th we bring bears for Teddy Bear Sunday and food for the picnic inside afterwards. We love pouring the bears on our Police Officer at the end of service and knowing they will give comfort to many people. We will ponder the power of love and Yemaja Jubilee will be sharing her poem, Love’s Table with saxophone backup.
The final Sunday of February, Reverend Valorie Kay and I will be swapping pulpits, so you are in for a treat as she shares and sings.
