Welcome to August, the last hot month of summer! We will be having some sizzling Sundays. We start with considering the power of "Will" while also introducing and embracing our 9 new members. I am looking forward to Elaine Silver’s return as we celebrate 100 years of Daily Word with music during our August 11th service. What a gift we have with this daily devotional and you know we love her positive music and voice. Come to shake a leg, sing and celebrate with great joy. On August 18th, our dear Rev. Alva will be sharing the lesson. She continues to make her way through ministerial school and the challenges of life. Her shares always connect with the stories of our lives and guide us back to spiritual truths. She wanted to speak to celebrate her birthday. How great is that?
Each Sunday will offer an opportunity to turn within and connect to the great Source and to connect with one another as we share ideas, love and the energy of oneness. This Sunday is the final day to contribute to the Crossover School Supply Drive. These children will be so very happy to receive their backpacks and goodies. We keep sharing the love!
