It has been a very busy October here at UBA. I would like to acknowledge that there were tons of people giving sacred service this month with the pet blessing, attic sale and Boo & Stew. Sunday we had soup, chili and stew cookers, dessert bakers, game players, a wagon puller, a face painter, piñata players, a card reader, people setting up and cleaning up, trunk or treaters, and lots of us eating. THANK YOU ALL; you are divine!
I invite us all to do some self-care before the holidays roll in. Take a breath and be. Look at the glorious colors around us. Tend to your heart and soul. Take moments of silence and peace,
The fun is just beginning for the holiday season. Myra will be coordinating Christmas lights outside, so please let her know if you would like to help. The big garden cleanup and inside decorating day is on December 2nd, with lunch provided for our hard workers. Joanne welcomes volunteers outside and Susan would love help inside.
We will have the Grand Illumination in early December, with the Montessori children singing as well as our music team rocking out to Christmas songs. Hot chocolate and treats will be provided. Last year we had a blast and we know we will again this year.
