On Sunday, August 27th, at 11:30 A.M., we are having our first 30 minute monthly meeting for anyone new, or any long time members/friends to discuss “What does Unity teach and believe?” This is not related to the new member class and everyone is welcome. It is simply an opportunity for people to get an overview and ask questions. We are blessed to have new people almost every week and we are grateful.
The Board has recently adopted the following statement as we seek to be clear on who we are and how we express it. "Unity is a positive, practical approach to the teachings of Jesus, recognizing the Divine within each of us and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path."
Come ponder together with us what it means to stand in New Thought teachings, on the shoulders of Myrtle and Charles Fillmore. We will be in the Education Room and you are welcome to bring a treat and a drink.
