 you like to create a world that works for all?
 We are participating in a
  church-wide book study through April 2027. We meet the first Tuesday nigh
 t of each month. The study class lasts 2 hours.
 If you're new to the gro
 up\, please call the church office to provide your contact information so 
 that you may receive the support materials for each month.
 Rev. Stephani
 e Seigh\, a Unity minister in Pennsylvania\, will facilitate the class. Sh
 e has been working with churches around the country\, helping great things
  unfold in each church. She will Zoom in for the class. We gather in New-R
 ock Hall so we can be with one another.  You may Zoom in\, although it wi
 ll be more fun to be with each other. The class is called Creating the Bel
 oved Community (by Rev. Lockard) after the book of the same name.  We wi
 ll learn about the qualities\, attitudes\, and practices that are needed t
 o manifest the kind of world envisioned by Howard Thurman and Rev. Dr. Mar
 tin Luther King. Jr.\; a world of peace and harmony. The focus is on how t
 o support the larger concept of the Universal Beloved Community\, by creat
 ing The Beloved Community locally - as authentic local spiritual communiti
 es.  The book speaks of the leadership qualities needed to create such a 
 community\, including cultural evolutionary awareness\, presencing\, and p
 sychological awareness of our own and others' development. I have been in 
 workshops with the book author\, Rev. Jim Lockard\, and also Rev. Stephani
 e. I know you will be inspired and touched.  
 The book can usually be o
 rdered through your favorite bookstore or Amazon.  The class is being giv
 en on a love offering basis. I look forward to your presence and the trans
 formative impact it will have at UCBA.
